I'm over due with my first baby, can i use a vibrator to try and induce labor?

So my due date was on the 9th and it is no the 13 and it is 2:23 am no sleep for me....people say can stimulate labor so if i use a insertable vibrator would it work the same? is this safe in late pregnancy?
