Whistling after 11pm?

i see the pacific nw has flying squirrels. they have a one note call that lasts a second or two .for years i thought that bats were making the noise in the trees until one night i turned a flashlight on the sound and there the little devils were. if you are feeding the birds check out the feeders just after dark. you can get real close to them
