When will my dentures fit without adhesive and when can I talk normal?

Ok, now so many people say in a week or two you get back to normal but that is so not true.....atleast not in my case. Its been a month and I can pretty much talk normal except for my S sound and it is noticeable. I feel like Cindy Brady! Also I still have to wear the fixodent and it keeps them pretty snug unless I have to chew then of course they come loose. Is that normal and when will they fit snug without the disgusting glue? I can't stand that stuff on the roof of my mouth.....
