Why don't the Progressives have an aggressive third-party?

It would be hard with a Democratic Government to get a movement on the left, most Liberals think Obama is still doing a good enough job. While he has done a few good things, and realistically as good a job as he can in the current political climate, it's that climate that needs to be changed, not the politicians.
