For those that had large inside dog(s) when you found out you were expecting a baby?

When my wife was pregnant w/ my daughter, My weimeranner would sit with her she knew what was going on...When my daughter was born I took blankets from the hospital and put them on thing the baby would be in ( ie swing, carriage, crib) so the dog got accustom to the smells, when she came home, the dog knew that she was "2nd fiddle" to the baby, and they became the best of friends, she would sit next to her in her bouncy seat and carefully watch everyone around!!!
