Can I put MITE GUARD in the bottom of the cage to keep my IGUANA from getting mites?

About the only thing you really want to do is to spray the cage with the mite and tick spray and then wipe it out clean and dry then you have to spray your iguana down and rub it in but I wouldn't leave it in the cage
