Why is profanity used so commonly now?

What do people who cuss get out of it? Like the people who say a cuss word in every sentance. how do you think that makes them feel, like proud of their potty mouth? Does it boost their confidence, because it's horrible to see almost everyone always cussing, not giving a care in the world if there are other younger children there. now in almost every song, theres cussing. people ruin songs by throwing an unnecessary 'bad word'. please tell me what you think.
