Why did Obama and Biden vote against funds to New Orleans for Hurricane Katrina relief?
I doubt this is the reason but there is nothing in the Constitution of the United States that allows the federal government to pay a single penny of the money it confies from working Americans toward rebuilding, repairing or replacing a single bit of the personal, state or city owned property that was damaged or destroyed by the storm. None of the money being spent to this day and none of the money to be thrown at Texas is allowed by the Constitution, either. Rebuilding those areas in the responsibility of the people who CHOSE to live there, not taxpayers who will never see those areas. Don't have insurance becasue you can't afford it? MOVE!
