What does having a baby mean?

I dreamt that I was pregnant, but only vaguely aware of it. I then had the baby in my sleep. I woke up and my boyfriend was taking care of her. I decided I should probably call my sister and let her know I had a baby, but hesitated because I was sure she was going to say, "Whatever happened to not having before marriage?". Then I realized that I hadn't had with my boyfriend and yet he seemed quite certain that baby was his. I stormed up to him and demanded to know how I got pregnant. He said he bought discount condoms and they must have broken. I pointed out that we hadn't had so condoms were quite irrelevant. He just kind of shrugged it off and carried the baby over to my stepmom to show her off. I can tell you, I felt like I had no control over my life!
