Mayweather vs de la Hoya II at welterweight?
Absolutely not. I understand their first fight was 7 lbs heavier so Oscar may not have been as "drained," but the fact is Oscar was very close to beating Floyd in their first fight, and likely would have won had he kept throwing the jab. Part of the reason Floyd "retired" is because he knew Oscar had a very legitimate chance of beating him in the rematch. My opinion is that Pacquiao dominated Oscar because Manny attacks and tries to finish the fight, whereas Floyd does not press the action and is content on winning safely. A De La Hoya vs Mayweather rematch would have ended in another decision, no KO.
