I need side dish ideas !!!!!!?

Im throwing a baby shower in July and Im thinking of getting subway party platters with orted sandwiches ...but I want to have nice appetizers and side dishes (not potato chips) and I need a delicious punch idea maybe one with ice cream in it.. Any ideas would be great help I have like 3 weeks till the shower..
