Authorisation Failure Balckberry?

I recently bought a Blackberry 3G 9300 on the internet so it's a sim-free phone. My provider is T-mobile. BBM and internet work fine but i can't make/receive calls and texts, I have to take out the battery and the sim every time I want to make a call which is quite frustrating. Does anybody know how to solve this problem?
